I should have stop reading the moment I reached chapter 2, but I didn't. Intead my naive and yet curious side of my brain chanted "Just one more chapter" and never stopped until I reached the last word at 4:30am.

Yeah ladies and gentlemen take this as a warning as how effective Rachel's hypnotic words have "The needs to know" grow exponentially with evey page you turn.

I love Em's character and obviously the selection of man candy Rachel offers in the form of Sanchez and Miller.

SPOILERS:

At first I was totally ruling for Miller to whisk Em's feet away from Sanchez. However halfway through my heart was torn between the two guys and I loved the final decision Em took.

I love Sanchez quick wit, easy going manner and that brain of his had me drooling.

My only recommendation is to add a warning/ disclaimer sign at the beginning of the book something like "DO NOT START AFTER 8PM" because you won't be able to put it down.😂😂😂 But I can't blame Rachel for my lack of self-control but rather to thank her for making me snort at 2:00 am, swoon at 12 and 2 am, at finally pre-ordering her next book at 3 am

Fraternize Players Game Book 1 edition by Rachel Van Dyken Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews

Fraternize is a fun, sexy, sweet, kinda love triangle, friends-to-lovers story with a different take on the dual POV. Emerson Rodner is unique. Not your typical size 2 cheerleader, she’s got curves and owns them, she works hard and knows her talent and worth. Miller Quinton is flirty, hot, funny and Emerson’s former best friend/boyfriend. They have a past that’s never been resolved. Grant Sanchez is blunt, sexy, and unexpected. He knows what he wants and he wants Emerson. But can he get past the playboy/manwhore image? What ensues is a great journey into friendship, forgiveness, a bromance and love. There’s awesome banter and side characters including Kinsey and Jax that you want to learn more about. Fraternize is a great start to the Player’s Game series. I look forward to the next book, Infraction, coming in January 2018.
I'm heartbroken, just gutted!!! I can't really get into it because I always do my best to not reveal spoilers. I just have to say that Rachel Van Dyken flipped the script on this one & I'm not sure that I'm a 100% on board. Her writing and the characters were AMAZING as always! Which is why I gave this book 4 stars. I cant fault her for writing the story she wanted to write and for going in the direction she did, heck I respect it. I like that she wrote something that may not make everyone happy. She keeps growing as a writer and I will continue to read her books because of it. All in all I definitely think you should take a chance on this book, I don't regret reading it, even if I'm suffering from a broken heart right now.

I wanted to add a little bit more to my review.... I wrote it right after I finished and in the midst of my heartbreak and realized that I didn't get fully into Emerson. This is one female main character that I could relate to on sooo many levels! I've always been a bigger girl and I took dance classes and was very active when I was younger. And I got a lot of flack for not being thin. Yet I had less body fat on me than the super thin girls. They just saw a big girl. Seeing how Emerson accepted herself and loved herself was amazing. I wish there had been more characters like that when I was younger. Maybe I wouldn't have been as self conscious as I was. Thank you Rachel for writing an amazing woman that we can look up to.

**THIS ENTIRE REVIEW IS A SPOILER**

WTH? I hated how this book ended. Why would you spend so much time on a backstory AND write a good portion of a book in a character's POV only to NOT have the girl pick him in the end? What, was it to give US the reader closure on their relationship? I'd really like to know because in my opinion, it was totally unnecessary. I feel baited and strung along. Am I being dramatic and but*hurt over it, heck yeah, and that's fine because I bought this book and I stayed up until 5 am only to want to throw my across the room in frustration. I honestly can't ever remember feeling like this over a book, nor have I ever been so disappointed in an author or story.

I give it a 2 because the writing and dialogue were enjoyable up to a point.
